Born and raised in Mary's Home, Missouri (no, it's not an orphanage...it really is a town!). I attended Our Lady of the Snows Catholic School (1st-8th grade) where I graduated in a class of 12 kids! After elementary school I attended Cole R-V High School in Eugene, Missouri where my graduating Senior class was a whopping 48 grads. I ventured away from the farm to attend college at University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri where I graduated with a degree in Visual Communications.
I met my husband Kurt while attending college. After graduating, we were married and were soon transferred to Ft. Worth, Texas. While in Fort Worth, I worked at TECNOL, a medical supply manufacturer/distributor in Corporate Communications. After living and working 10 years in Texas, my husband, our sons (Sean & Michael) and myself transferred ourselves back to Kansas City — it was time to be closer to our families.
My family and I love the outdoors and going to the lake but we also enjoy indoor activities like playing cards and watching movies together. Sean graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield and Michael is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Army National Guard. My husband is a Wholesale Territory Representative at Sinclair Oil Corp.
In the past, I've worked as Development Director/Event Planner/Public Relations Manager for Hope House, a battered women's shelter and at the Brain Injury Association of Kansas. Since 2004 I've worked at Propane Resources assisting retailers across the nation effectively communicate with their customers, while reaching out to potential customers.
In October of 2016 I gained a daughter in-law and as of March 2018 I've gained my first grand baby.
