I grew up in Minneapolis, MN. The land of long winters, short summers and where the mosquito is recognized as the state bird. As the eldest of three boys my parents were worn out after disciplining me and my brothers got to run free. I can still remember what ivory soap tastes like, that's why I'm still afraid of my mother. I decided to go to St. Cloud State University because they would let me play hockey and golf. I also received a B.S. in Accounting in between learning how to drink beer. I married a girl who literally grew up 2 blocks away from where I grew up, just on the other side of the tracks and that was 30 some years ago. I got started in the propane industry with Northern Propane Gas Co as a product cost accountant. I thought they were going to give me a clip board to go out and count the barrels of propane in a warehouse somewhere. Over the years I have been fortunate to work in most every facet of the Retail Propane Business. I helped found Propane Resources as a place where people could make a living and personally grow while helping propane retailers build value in their companies. |
